Depending on space availability, you may enter at any time of the month and your first month’s reservation fees will be prorated. Babies can enter as early as 6 weeks postpartum and the mom has been cleared by a doctor or midwife to begin exercising.

NOTE: Baby goes through many development stages in the first year of life and we embrace all those stages adjusting our practice to meet baby’s needs as well as your own. Do not think that you cannot begin or have to stop coming because your baby is cranky, teething, wanting to be held more, only wants to be held by you, sleeps during class, is crawling, etc. If you have concerns ask the instructor but know that the practice changes in response to the developmental stage that baby is in; there are more interactive stages and other stages that you have more space to exercise independently. It’s all good and the support and guidance of the teacher will assist you in knowing how to change your practice to meet baby.

What to Bring: Bring your own mat or rent one from the studio for $1 each class. Bring a receiving blanket and several soft toys for your baby.  Please arrive at 12:15. Set up your place along the wall with: mat, (2) blocks, strap and (2) blankets.

Testimonials:

"Physically it was both challenging and soothing ...which made me feel less stress and my body more relaxed.  Emotionally and socially I continued to benefit from the support of friends that I met in prenatal yoga and the new ones I met in Baby&Me.  I miss having check in like in prenatal yoga; however, I have to admit a longer class would probably not go over well with my son...1hour seems just perfect." Jennifer K. (mother of Ryder)

"I felt that when my baby and I walked into the room, that there was a sense of compassion, love and deep understanding, not just from Deborah, but from the other moms that were there too.  Physically, Deborah cared compassionately about helping me learn how to stretch my muscles and body in order to meet the aches and pains that my body was experiencing from the carrying of my baby, before and after my baby's birth.  The relationships that Deborah helps nurture in her classes feel like ones that will last a lifetime.  The relationships with the other moms and babies give me the comfort that my baby will have life long friends that he will be able to grow up with too."  Lisa R. (mother of Joey)

“This class has benefited me and my beautiful son in so many ways.  As a new mom I’ve found beauty and strength in my postpartum physique.  The class has helped me learn just how to decompress, let go of stress and most importantly take the time I need to truly appreciate just what I have created here.  I enjoyed learning some massage techniques; I now use them every evening as part of our bedtime routine.  The class and the instructor and her intentions are blessings in our lives.   It might seem at first that it would be difficult to tote baby, bag, carrier, yoga mat, etc. on time to a yoga class, but once you do it you realize how very worth the effort it is." Marit S. (mother of Kai)

“I found it very helpful to attend a weekly class with other moms and babies the same age.  It was emotionally calming, physically strengthening and socially engaging for me and my daughter.”  Tania C. (mother of Francesca)

“I like that Deborah gently challenges you physically.  I enjoy meeting mothers who are enjoying their babies as much as I am.”  Lotus H. (mother of Lily)

“Physically it was great to get back into shape and tone my body.  Emotionally being able to connect with my body and being able to spend one on one time with my girl felt good.  Socially it was great to hear others stories, problems, and successes.  It helped with questions I had and my daughter loves the interaction with the other babies.”  Jennifer L. (mother of Sydney)

“The program helped me know what movements to begin doing to help my body be on the road to a complete recovery.   It also feels great to be helping my baby develop.  I can see the benefits for both of us already.  A huge thing I love is having something to do with her we both enjoy that is so interactive.  It works for the 3am awake time as well.  It’s great that we can be mom and baby so naturally in the company of the same.”  Karin F.  (mother of Liliana)

“ …Wonderful Experience.  Baby and me yoga.. helped me feel so much closer to my son and refreshed too. No phone ringing and no chores to be done. Not to mention all the wonderful mommies we met.  We all still get together on Tuesdays to let our kids play.  Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful peaceful place for us all to connect with our inner spirit.”  Gina W. (mother of Nicholas)
